VPC William Lott, Ambassador for Delaware, presents Brother Wayne Stacy, Worthy Grand Patron with the Youth Advocate Award
On March 24, 2022, Brother Wayne Stacey was presented the General Grand Council Youth Advocate Award by Very Puissant Companion William Lott, Ambassador to Delaware. The award was given at Georgetown Chapter No. 9, Order of the Eastern Star in Georgetown, Delaware. The award was presented the evening of the Official Visit of the Worthy Grand Matron, Kathleen Trombly to Georgetown Chapter. Brother Wayne besides being the recipient of the award is also currently our Worthy Grand Patron for Delaware.

About Wayne Stacey
Brother Wayne Stacey has served as a Scouter for 60 years and mentored 65 Eagle Scouts. He served 10 years on the National Board for Sea Scouts and is an active member of the local Scouting Council. He has not missed a Jamboree since 190 and teaches shooting and safe firearms practices during the summer at the local Scout Camp. Bro. Stacy regularly sleeps outs with the Scouts during their winter camping outings as well as teaching them how to survive in cold weather.
He served in the Coast Guard for 30 years and always volunteered with a local Scout Troop where he was stationed. Bro. Stacey also works on maintaining the Sea Scout vessels, goes to sea with them regularly during the sailing season, and teaches good seamanship to Sea Scouts. He has received numerous Scouting Awards for his service.
