RPC G. Thomas Taylor
My name is G. Thomas Taylor, and I am a candidate for the office of General Grand Master of Cryptic Masons International. In 2020, I was elected and installed General Grand Principal Conductor of the Work. In 2023, I was elected and installed Deputy General Grand Master.
During my tenure on the General Grand Staff, I placed considerable effort in fundraising for the Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation. During this period, donations rose from ~$150,000 to ~$500,000 per year. Many jurisdictions contributed to this effort. As a result, there has been increased energy and enthusiasm for Cryptic Masonry.
As General Grand Master, I hope to build on the enthusiasm for Cryptic Masonry and drive increases in Membership. Member experience and communication are an integral part of building membership. General Grand Officers need to be visible to the craft and listen to their concerns. Communication is a two way process and only through face-to-face contact can a true picture be developed.
I believe the General Grand Council should work in a more business-like manner. Each position should have a job description that includes expectations. Each committee should be given a task to accomplish and be held accountable.
In summary, this article highlights the importance of continued innovation and collaboration. It briefly states my plans and goals if elected General Grand Master. As we look to the future, the potential for growth and discovery remains vast. Let us stay committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible, inspired by our progress and motivated by the challenges ahead. Thank you for all you do, in your Jurisdictions and Councils. We look forward to the exciting developments the future holds. We are Proud of our Past; Excited about the Future
