Many of you have taken advantage of purchasing items through the Cryptic Masons Store at www.crypticmasons.org. As costs have risen throughout the economy, so have the costs of shipping and PayPal fees for the General Grand Council. With this in mind, we have had to make decisions about what we are charging for products.

Effective February 2, there will be a shipping and handling charge on all sales from the store to cover shipping ($10 in the United States or $25 International) in addition to the 5% PayPal fee. All payments for per capita, life memberships, OSV honorariums, Grand Cross of Honor honorariums, and Honorary General Grand Rank honorariums made through PayPal will require a 5% surcharge.

If ordering awards through the mail, there will be no PayPal surcharge. For awards such as First Responder and Veterans Medals will require a $10 shipping charge. All shipments will be sent priority mail from DeMolay International in Kansas City.

We understand that there have been some startup issues in transferring fulfillment to DeMolay, but the issue has been addressed and we are seeing more timely shipments.

Due to some issues with the Postal Service, we recommend that Grand Recorders get their Annual Awards into the General Grand Recorder’s office no later than 6 weeks prior to your sessions. The Annual Award form can be found under Resources/Recorders from the website.
